The problem. Bottles live on the tub edge, fall, and leave rings. Drilling tile is a bad idea in a rental and a hassle in a house.
What this does. A spring-tension pole caddy that wedges between tub/floor and ceiling. Stability depends on a level ceiling, the right height range, and not overloading the top shelf. Check your lease before installing anything that presses on ceiling texture.
Questions
- Will this damage my ceiling?
- Tension poles press upward. On sturdy painted drywall they usually leave little or no mark; on popcorn or weak texture they can crush or stain. We do not promise a damage-free install. Use the rubber pads and do not over-tighten.
- Does it work in a tub/shower with a sloped ceiling?
- It needs two reasonably parallel surfaces. A steep slope or a very high ceiling outside the SKU range will not hold. Measure before you buy.
- Is it rust-proof?
- Nothing in a steamy shower is rust-proof forever. Stainless lasts longer than chrome-plated steel. Wipe standing water off shelves after hot showers.
